Why do most of our batsmen play spinners from the crease? Use your feet when the time is right, hit through the line and those close fielders will soon scatter.
Broad has shown that it is possible to do just that.

England are back in business, esp if we can get rid of Misbah. Still a few questions about our batting... this is hardly a bowlers track.

very good to see Monty back

    wicket really suits him
  • the referral system also plays into Monty's hands; specifically on LBW decisions

Agreed, with the DRS Warnie would have been pushing about 1,000 wickets in Tests, he used to get turned down for loads of front foot LBW's - even by the Aussie umpires before the neutrals came in.

Still can't decide who's going to win this one. If England have to make over 150 they are going to struggle but it is a very good contest to watch.

Great bowling by Monty and we need 145 to win. I thought 150 might be a struggle so we have 5 runs in hand!!

Monty should have played in the first match - although it was the batters that really failed- in the sub continent it should always be horses for courses.

Do we include Dubai as the 'sub continent'.....leastways in cricketing terms.
