    On a serious note, where a business goes through such a major restructuring, don't shareholders have to be informed of where staff levels and other cutbacks have been made ?

    Not an expert on company law but I think it depends on the type of company ie ltd co/private/public. I will ask next time I speak to the devil himself Mr Varney
