Did anyone else clock at the end of the game Mr fatty goalkeeper went to shake Danny Haynes hand but Danny done a school boy error and walked away!
fatty said something to him but Danny said on the lines of "Do One" and walked away....LOL

I saw them having a few words during the game, looked like Haynes was giving him abit of stick0

It started when Haynes chased down the ball and the keeper got there before him and then starting giving him some verbals for some reason.0

Full marks to him for (a)not responding to those sickening little twats, and (b) having a laugh last night. As long as his banter remains good-natured as it appeared to be when he told a few in the Covered End to "calm down" last night before waving and giving a thumbs up, he should be lauded. We're always being told there are no "characters" left in the game after all.

fariplay to the keeper last night , he give some banter and took it and i for one clapped him off and as a bit of a fatty it wasn't fattist to ask 'fatty what's the score'0 -
Their keeper was my man of the match just based on attitude alone. I find Hamer winding players and fans up annoying as he doesn't do it with any finesse. Belford gave a bit but took his pelters very well. Plus he was short, fat and wore short sleeves even though it was freezing. Comedy champ0

the keeper signalled 1-0 to him after he collected a ball danny was chasing down so when we scored instead of running up to the team he ran straight up to the keeper and signalled 1-1 to him Legend!0

This, I absolutely hate it when Hamer wastes time so I have no sympathy for us when other keepers do it too. Only thing that bugs me is that Hamer seems to be the only keeper who ever gets booked for it! I think he might end up earning a suspension from accumulated yellows at this rate!

I think the trick is to find the very edge of what you can get away with. The Bury keeper got it about right last night. Was one occasion where our player placed the ball for his goal kick, he picked the ball up and I thought he would take it to the other side as is his right but given that he had been timewasting up to that point, he decided to only move it a couple of feet as he judged that he might get booked otherwise.0

The Daily Mail never lets the facts get in the way of a good story. 5'10" on Wikipedia but he'd need the Encyclopeia Brittanica to reach 6'2"

Apart from our stunning last-gasp equalizer, I found his antics the most entertaining part of the evening. Certainly broke up the boredom of a very dour match...............0

Yeah good luck to him. Yes he wasted loads of time but that's his job in the circumstances. It's the referees job however to stop him doing it and that was not done which is very disappointing.0

What would stop time wasting would be an independant timekeeper - would be pointless doing so then - whether it be us or opponents. Refs just give a gut feeling from experience and you can usually predict the amount of time they will add and they are usually wrong - mostly playing less additional time rather than more! Which is of course another reason why players waste time- because refs let them get away with it!0

Yeah, I don't get why there isn't an independent time keeper. The rules around football timekeeping are murky.
First of all, the reason a match is 90 minutes long is to allow for stoppages - so what SHOULD a ref stop his watch for, beyond extended delays via injury? Secondly, the only time a ref should delay blowing his whistle is for a penalty - but refs allow attacks, corners, throw ins, goal kicks... they only want to blow when the ball passes the halfway line. Seems odd to me.
And I really don't understand how most games finish exactly on the minute. The refs seem to add on arbitrary amounts of time. If it was done properly, and the watch was stopped and started according to the situation in hand, the ref wouldn't actually know how much 'injury time' there was... If there are any refs on here, I'd love to know the truth!0 -

If we reluctantly accept that virtually all keepers will waste a bit of time, including our own, I think Hamer needs to be more careful about how he winds up officials, fans, and players in other ways. Not for the first time he was lucky to escape a booking last night, having run a long way to shove their No.7.
I'm happy to overlook the cross-catching weakness as he learns his trade, and feel he justifies his place but isn't it about time now to tell him to stop getting unnecessarily involved antagonising too many people. Stirring an otherwise passive crowd and creating a hostile atmosphere at an away ground might just come back to haunt him. Belford last night showed that these things can be done with a sense of humour instead.0 -

Whilst on the theme of time wasting, another reason why players feign injury etc is done when their opponents have worked up a 'head of steam', as we did last night in the last 15 minutes or so.
This breaks the pattern of play, allows the team to regroup and take a breather, whilst at the same time disrupting and slowing down the oppositions current momentum.
So it often has little to do with actually wasting time as such.0 -
They seemed to be chatting ok befor Haynesy went down the tunnel. Thought the non-handshake from Haynes was pretty pathetic. He seemed to be wandering up to him like a confused Londoner, thinking he was in Brooklyn, so his whole walk gave the body language he was being confrontational to the keeper. He made a specific bee-line for the keeper at the end. Haynes did well when he came on but thought he was being a prat. As for the goalie good luck to him, played well, and reacted well to the crowd, clapping them when he was part booed.0

Glad you put that into word , my thoughts exactly , i was sitting their nose running like a river , thinking i could have been tucked up with Natalie Sawyer( & Jim White) on Sky Sports News, following all those 'Last gasp' transfers , on transfer deadline Day ;-0
