According to my special sources*

Appears work is well under way on the new site which will launch in the summer.

Still with FLI but a new website partner so should be "less cluttered and busy, with stronger focus on news and fewer adverts"

FLI clubs have had a chance to choose from different templates, different colours and backgrounds as not one design for all anymore.

Also according to my source "nothing is confirmed until it's on the O/S" has now entered Charlton Folklore. I wonder where that oft misquoted phrase started?

changing it again, just when I got use to the new one, only at charlton ;-)
  • Let's hope they sort out the 'Navision Commerce Portal' pages you have to navigate to buy tickets, because I find they're incompatible with Firefox and I have to switch to Internet Explorer to buy tkts, which is most annoying as I hate Explorer and swear by Firefox!

Anyone else had the same problem?

Yeah. I do. I went to buy a ticket last night and had to switch to IE. The problem was that I have my Con password saved on firefox and can't remember it. I clicked the "forgotten password" link but just gives me a bloody error.............

You can have any colour you like ..... as long as it's brown.

Let's hope we don't end up with the 'Beeriod' or 'after-curry' varieties....

Not seven choices of website, only three, I think, but it looks to be an improvement from what I've seen. Hard to make it worse.

Online tickets is nothing to do with FLi or the comms dept, but is also being improved.

That's what I heard. Cl to merge with the OS if a deal can be struck. The Would Ya's were the deal breaker last thing I heard.

In other news Addickted is taking over responsibility for Health and Safety and the smoking policy at the Valley.
  • The advantage of there being only one template is that, as terrible as it is, once you learn how to navigate it the same applies to other clubs sites.

Well, some of us won't dirty our computers by going on other clubs sites. ;-)

Too many people were willing it to fail Henry. Never did here back about the sales. Are the losses in double figures yet?

Don't remember anyone willing it to fail.

No idea on the sales or losses only that Paul Elliston saying it needed to sell more to make it economic.

Paul only has to contact me on here and i could give him a few tips - given him the great idea, wouldn't be right if i sold it for him as well.
