Saw this on Soccer Saturday. Unimportant but Jeff Stelling was fantastic as the news came through to him while the show was live on air. The way he broke the news, using an appropriate mood and then got the programme going again was fantastic journalism IMHO.0 -

RIP - having read the articles he sounds like he was a nice chap and after putting £100M+ into the club what a shame that he never saw them back in the Prem. You have to worry for that club now if he has not left some sort of Trust in place to keep them going.0
