According to the BBC website, Pope has signed on until 2014. This gives us two very promising, assured young goalkeepers for the forseeable future. Expect to see Sullivan go in the summer ?

Was on the OS yesterday0 -
Doubt he'll step up to being 2nd choice as early as next season. Next step probably is to prove himself at a higher level on loan, like Randolph and Elliot did after loans in non-league.
Be interesting to see if Gough is kept on.0 -
Watched him at Welling and he is very very slight. He seemed to do the basics of goalkeeping well, however he is going to have to work on his physical stature.0

got a few mates who are die hard welling, reckon Pope is the best they have seen down there in years. Looks like a good player for the future without a doubt0

i always thought gough would go on and be great, his size is amazing for his age and his shot stopping is good
you reckon he could be on his way?0 -
It doesn't look like the current U18 keeper is being offered a pro deal, so it would make sense to extend Gough's contract and send him and also Pope out on loan again next season. Both need the experience and they both look like decent prospects.0

thanks for the heads up gentlemen .. from what you all say it seems that Sullivan will still be needed as back up for a year or so0

Not sure I agree with Clem over his stature. He's tall and deceptively well built. He's got natural filling out to do yet for his age.0

Nor sure if you have seen this, looks like a very grounded chap.
