    Though not a large amount by any stretch, I'm sure it makes a difference . This is the kind of thing that makes us lefty, middle-class tossers and that's something to be proud of.

    It's not a lot of money in the larger scheme of things but it obviously means a lot to Margate.

    He was signing on by wednesday

    And thursday, friday saturday

    Now he only plays on sunday...................... yeah, yeah, I'm getting my coat..................

    What I want to know is why there is news of the Chesterfield game on the OS but nothing about this Margate donation?

    What are the First team manager Rick Everitt's motives for this and did Steve Kavanagh deliver the cheque himself.

    A great gesture by the club, obviously means a lot to Margate and just reinforces what makes us proud and sets us apart.

    Gesture's are just that, but they say far more about conduct and class, than many other social markers. Regardless of how recent news stories have brought bad press to our club, it's good deeds like these that make a club respected, not the size of the owners bank balance.

    If Carlsberg made football clubs, ours would be the model they'd use. FACT.
