Can fire 1100 rounds per minute that's 18.3 rounds per second. Which is faster than Oggy can drink a pint of cider. How on earth can it mechanically be so fast ?

    Going straight off-topic here but if you think that's fast, did you see 'The Worlds Smartest Animals'? That Chimp who was memorising sequences of numbers in 0.06 seconds was bloody amazing!

    It's known as the AFKA gun. Small and potentially deadly, but one short pump and the ammunition's all gone!

    The peregrine falcon is perhaps the fastest animal on earth. In a stoop, or dive, the peregrine has been clocked at speeds of over 180 miles per hour.

    As for guns, guns don't kill people, people kill people! I prefer a bow and arrow.

    Sorry Beds, but if this mechanism is pumping out 18 rounds per second then it's gonna be faster than 180 miles an hour. (Much as I love a peregrine falcon - fantastic looking birds)

    I think it works with a spring pushing against exhaust gasses.So it speeds up when it gets on the short strokes.......I ll get my coat!

    Formula one engines rev a 18,000 rpm. That 300 revs per second so 18.3 is pretty bloody slow!

    It was still sending signals back in 2003 and at that stage it was 8 and a half billion miles from earth. Beat that.

    But the Vulcan has six barrels not one like the Uzi and is therefore slower in real terms.
