"Concerns over previous weeks." Seems he must have upset the board. Can't have been sacked on performances surely.0
-
Absolutely shocking decision in my opinion. Really, very, very suprised at this. Hope they get what they deserve!!0

he should have got them promoted over the last few seasons, they have had one of the biggest budgets. The board don't care about going unbeaten they care about going up.0
-
Or Mclaren!!Hope they get what they deserve!!
Dowie?0 -
McLaren is manager at FC Twente0

terrible decision. He'll be a good appointment for someone along with Terry McDermot. Wonder who'll they'll go for. Not many better than Clarke out there for this level of football.0
-
Incredible after all of the patience they showed him!0

Should have done it in the summer , not now , crazy decision.0

"with 16 games we still have an opportunity to achieve promotion and have made this change with this in mind"
what? oh right cos they have been in free fall with clarke in charge. Benefiting the club. balls. they just dident like he's shifty face.
They will Struggle for play offs now.0 -
This has Warnock written all over it0
-
That should bring him back down to earth with a bump! Guy has a massively inflated opinion of himself! His time at Huddersfield can only be viewed as one of failure. The board have given him a substantial transfer budget (for a league 1 club) over the past few seasons and he has failed to get them out of the division.0

Exactly, isn't it Clarke who's got them in the position to "have an opportunity to achieve promotion" with 16 games to go ?

They would have been 2nd if they had won yesterday.
Ridiculous to sack him now0 -
Outsiders probably thought the same when Charlton sacked Parkinson!0

Fickle fickle lot 3 losses in 300

Very strange if he has been sacked for results after the loyalty he has shown.
They are the 3rd best side in the league and I think they would go up in the play offs0 -

Most of the Huddersfield fans seem happy that he's gone (well on this webboard anyway), it's the rest of the football world that can't believe it!0 -

No one deserves that!Hope they get what they deserve!!
Dowie?
Rumours were that he was getting sacked in January if they didn't beat Wycombe. They won 6 - 0.
Seems that is was automatic promotion or bust and after last night automatic looks a lot more difficult.

Pretty much us last season.0
-
To be fair they all seem very very happy on down at the mac0
-
I think it a strange move but Clark will ultimately be judged on his next job.0
-
Seems a very odd decision. If there's nothing going on behind the scenes, I'd go as far as to say mad.0
-
It is strange when a new manager cant buy any players now only short term loans.0
