4 - 0. BWP reacts to the (imaginary) flak by skipping around their lumbering offside trap and chipping one and then, two minutes later, another over their keeper, who begins giving verbal to his own defense who eventually react by shoving him. He stumbles back over his goal line, with the ball, which gives us our third.

this game will be easier than the home game against same opposition as more pressure on the home side as they will look to be more offensive so can see us winning by 2 goals with an attacker finding the net for a change.

2-0 win, not witnessed by any of the travelling fans who go into a boredom induced coma as soon as they reach Tranmere.

About time we really spanked a team - I'm going for 5-0 to the reds. 3 goals from BWP, one o.g. and another penalty for a foul on Big Yann.
  • Pretty certain we'll take the 3 points, just hope that instead of grinding out our way to them we gain them with panache.

Plus, my head is still saying give Haynes his first start. Though my heart wants BWP to start smashing them in. Left, right and centre.

Me too. BWP from the bench when the backs are getting tired could get him the goal he needs to kick start again. Thought he was unlucky with his tern and shot Tuesday. It will come.

Would like Waggy on the field at the same time. I think his direct runs pulls the central defender out leaving a bit more space in the box.

I've a good feeling about this one. I think it'll be a relatively straight forward 2-0 victory with BWP and Danny Green scoring.
  • Loud & proud .

That'll be the 300+ of us who make the long journey northwest on Saturday.

    Believe.

Morning folks Psychic RM here at an even more ungodly hour, but an early start at work is calling...........so I've woken my balls up...lovingly carressed them.....and Mrs RM has given them some early morning treatment as well......and they are ready to spout there news.........and it is......(blimey I'm surprised at this).....they've gone for a 3-0 addicks victory with some ease!!! I do hope that this extra early morning sojourn has not made them act to prematurely!!!
Well that's that then............over in a minute or so......time to put them away......get dressed and off to work......they'll be out again Tuesday morning!!

Match Thread as from 2 pm on Saturday by RM as usual.

    Cheers

Tranmere have a poor record at home to teams in the top half .
I'm going for a 2-0 win and BWP to get both.

I'm actually looking forward to this one. Only my second away game this season, meeting up with my Lancashire-based son and grandson. I don't think Tranmere will adopt the same spoiling tactics at home that they did at the Valley and frankly if we can't beat these sort of teams we don't deserve to be out front at the top of the league. I know that we will drop points now and then so I'd probably take a draw but I shall be heading north in the expectation that three generations of Stumpses will be cheering the boys on to another 3 points.

Tricky one this one. I can actually see us dropping points here. Whenever a team has a dreadful run they always seem to end it against Charlton. BUT, in SCP I trust, so am going with 2-1 victory, Morrison and Haynes.

    2-0 BWP and Kerm.

Bit gutted I can't make this one to be honest.

Who are the teams just below us playing?
Chesterfield vs Sheff Wed (easy win I reckon for wendies)
    MK Dons vs Oldham
    Sheff Utd vs Preston

Stevenage not playing till Wed night against Notts County
    :-)

  • 2-0 seems to be popular leaving tommorow at 9 30 for this and a long journey up north awaits. Should be a good game and ill go with 3-1 BWP (2) kermo making up for our strikers drought.

im predicting a 3-2 thriller for CAFC (goals from bwp 10', jackson 45', and Kermorgant 67')

    my team sheet would read:
hamer, solly, taylor, morrison, wiggins, green, hollands, stephens, jackson, bwp, kermorgant - subs: sullivan, cort, evina, wagstaff, hayes.

i put evina on the bench in place of haynes because i think evina could do a better job defensively should jackso need a sub and we are winning.
