I'm back in the UK for a couple of weeks in April. Will be spending most of the time in Edinburgh with my mum and unfortunately the only home game doesn't fit in with my nights in London. But....we've got Carlisle away.
Anyone going as would be good to meet up with a few lifers rather than just go on me todd?

I'm sure some of our Scottish fans will be going. Weegie lives in Glasgow and usually goes with her hubby

Yes - we will be there. It's the closest we have to a "home" game.

Same-i'll be going down on my bike. a mere 99 miles.

  • Flying in from Stockholm with couple of mates to Manchester train up and few nights in carlisle do like Carlisle away
  • Having a long weekend in the Lakes with this match sandwiched between getting lost on long walks.

Staying at Grange-over-Sands... best pies in England from Higginsons butchers.

I will be there, also closest I have to a home game, less than 80 miles from deepest Ayrshire!
  • Had a look at travelodge. £35 a night fri or sat at moment. 330 miles from Valley, that's hardcore away support.

Was thinking of getting the train via Glasgow, but the Travelodge option sounds a good idea
Henry - that was a horrible game, made worse but being locked in and not being able to escape early! But things are a bit different now.

Discounted return rail tickets booked from Birmingham two night stay at the Hallmark hotel booked too for the Friday and Saturday. Have stayed previously at the Fox and Pheasant in Armathwaite, very nice run by a couple who once ran an old haunt of mine the Nags Head in Covent Garden. Mrs Lat, my best man and his wife coming for the weekend, though the ladies will not be coming to the game.

Maybe I'll get that £20 off Addickted!!!

Hope Sky don't for some weird reason get the game switched other than to a 5.20pm kick off. Could be the game when we possibly get promoted...again
  • Is it going to be on sky then?

We have. By the rules laid down, it can't be on Sky.

Definitely NOT on tv as the rules state you can only be shown three times, apart from play-offs

Just read about away allocations at both Carlisle and Preston. Despite high demand for both, seems we will be given more than enough seats.

    Upto 6,000 at Preston.
  • When do tickets for the Carlisle game go on sale?
  • Noooo! Reading this thread has now got me flapping that having already booked on the train it will now be on Sky on the Monday night instead and we'll have sold out anyway so there's no point going now !!!!!!!!!!
  • No, can't be on sky apaprently as we've had our quota.
  • Going up on the train with a shed load of other addicks going to be messy very messy

Ketman, plaayer , red what train you on , wiwlb is sorting one for us 57 sheets

    Toot Toot all the way
