You can walk through @Stone 's row, he don't mind.

Anyone know if you can get to the north upper from the NWQ? as i've got mates coming along but they could not get tickets near our season ticket seats in north upper, only for a meet up before the game (not nicking anyones seats)
Go up to NWD Row LL (my row) and go across from there

Sold about 500 to 11am - gate is well over 25,000. Looks certain to be over 26,000,

Expecting we will have tickets up to kick-off, but best advice is to arrive early,

  • Just mentioned on radio 5's fighting talk. Suspect the producer is a fan.

Whats great about a big crowd with lots of little kids, is the way the new kid in front of you can swivel their head 180 degrees to stare/gaze right at you if you yell or sing something.

....another great thing is that our high prem crowds were met with the accusation (partly true) that a big proportion of the crowd demographic were neutral, or other teams supporters, or prem footie supporters who would schlepp along and be uncommitted to Charlton. Apart from being cheapskates ;-) what is going to be the demographic ot todays crowd?

Yeah, I guess its just nice to get it out the way really.
    Ha ha - that's funny.

"Nice to get it out the way" - so you left it to virtually the last minute!

As a long time season ticket holder I think these games are a fantastic idea, getting extra support through the turnstiles as well as raising the clubs profile.

Leaving for the game soon so just wanted to say well done to all those at Charlton for your efforts, if its not a sell out it will be a great crowd & your efforts are appreciated by the vast majority of us fans.

26500 - fantastic! Well done to Airman, and his team. I wasn't sure I could go until this morning. Ordered my ticket by phone. Collection went perfectly and very fast with hardly any queue even though it was less than half an hour before the start.

There were 183 unsold tickets in the end . . . we'll have to try harder next time!

Thanks to everyone who played their part.

Hartlepool £10 adults and £5 concessions if you buy in March. We will probably be doing something else aimed at today's new Red Card holders. Otherwise that's it for this season.

Good day out @AirmanBrown.....thank you...........glad all your hard work paid off..........gotta be happy with 26.5k....hope all the new people come back soon
  • I think the key thing about this initiative is that the team and us fans needed the boost of a big crowd in a big game against, on paper, our hardest remaining opponents at home. Not so confident we would have one without it although to be fair I think we played them at the right time with their excertions in the last week. Hope they have something in the tank for hudders on Tuesday night!

    Well done Rick et al

Me too Len. got served OK in The White Swan, Extra turnstiles were open and no one felt the need to use our row as a passage-way during the game. Oh and a fine performance by the men in red.

    Happy days.
