    Great result forget this nonsense about just going up we hardly ever win anything in our history and this league is all but ours would take epic failure not be crowned champions were grinding out results like champions do as well

    It was a great result as Sheff Utd were showing signs they were up for a chase for our title. There is no way Wednesday can catch us so happy for them to have the points. The good thing about our gap is that it takes a lot of the pressure off us which the other top six sides will be feeling big time. A win for Utd and they would have got a bit of a gap and could have started looking upwards, now they will be looking below them.

    I agree! A passionate local derby, surely there should have been a few 2 footed tackles and mass brawls?

    Sheff Weds had exhausted all their bad tackles against us !! Best possible result for Charlton. Utd needed to close the gap on us and will now become embroiled in a battle for the second auto spot.

    My son went. Said the game was a bit of a bore but the atmosphere was great. Shame he wasn't at the Valley on Saturday 'cos he would have witnessed proper atmosphere ;-)
