Quite simply, for me, Jim Davidson is a celebrity who happens to follow Charlton but does not give it the big un, sits with us and drinks with us. Where is the problem with that? For me good luck to him. But you are correct leftbehind.

With regard to whether or not Mr. Davidson would be remotely bothered about what people are saying about him on the Internet, allow me to shed some light.

I have become good friends with a very, very senior politician over here, very high profile and something of a polarising figure in public life.

I asked him the other week if he ever read any of the bile that people wrote about him on Forums/Blogs etc., he snorted with derision and said, "Even if I had the time, what would be the point?"
