    Don't see the need but will trust Powell.

    I remember on here people didn't want BWP, didn't think Yann was a good signing, the excitment when Euell came back and was generally thought that Clarke was a clear improvement on Benson.

    Would like 5 strikers next season, Benjani was a good player even if not a regular goalscorer a few years ago, doubt it'll happen but I wouldn't write him off.

    They said on talk sport he is on £37k a week at portsmouth, so dont think he will be coming here if they are trying to get them wages off the books.

    Seems strange, Pompey needs teams to take a players whole wage off their books. Whereas we're run with a strict budget regards to wages. I could see it at the end of the season when his contract runs out and he'll have to take a significant wage cut to stay with a team in the UK.
