cant think why people would necessarily want to ask Leaburn anything though

I am yet to be convinced that it is really him.

I think he should tweet a picture of himself with today's newspaper. Then I'll believe him.

have you seen his wikipedia page - it says that he "occasionally works as a security guard for the canary wharf estate" haha

People who are old enough to remember him probably would.

It is genuinely him, and anyone who was a fan in the late 80s and 90s would have plenty of questions
  • I'd like to know exactly what went on during the Battle of the Bridge for instance but I guess that's not "cool" enough for some people.

I remember seeing him score a hat trick against Ipswich, or did I dream that ? I think one was a clearance from the keeper which pretty much knocked the bigman out

Hi, I'm @leaburn on Twitter and I was seriously thinking of changing my name when the great man opened an a/c. However, it would appear not to be him according to many sources. It is interesting that the photo of him and Crooks is ages old despite "Carl" tweeting that they were together on Tues night.
Carl Leaburn was indeed a legend and despite being frustrating at times I am always reminded of his value in old videos when he is always involved in the link up for goals.
    Top 3 memories of Carl
    1. Battle of Stamford Bridge
    2. Being tackled by a corner flag at Brentford
    3. Deflected goal at Villa Park of Derek Mountfield's boot wrong footing Nigel Spink and all of us singing England's England's Number 1!!
  • Surely his hatrick at ipswich was up there, couldnt beleive it at the time lol

I can confrim that both Carl and Garth Crooks were there on Tuesday night. Have no reason to believe the account is a fake

I remember that game well, we were perched along the side, they went one up, had their keeper sent off and we won 5-1, Carlo hatrick amazing, a few years earlier we were in a penned terrace behind the goal and drew 4-4 after being 2-0 and 4-2 down, did I dream this?

My cat was called Leaburn, as said a true legend

Im doubtful as to whether its him. His profile picture and the one single picture he has posted of him and Garth Crooks are both pictures you can find on google searches for him (I know cos I've seen them before when searching to try and find out what he's up to!).

The profile picture of him looks like one of him with two random girls who have had their photo taken with him at a community event, a hospital or something. Bit of an odd one for him to choose of himself.

It is the real Carl Leaburn, not an imposter.

Fair enough, how do you know for sure? the fact that johnnie jackson is following him suggests it might be him

Give him a ball, stand him 6 yards from a goal and tell him to shoot. If he misses, it's more than likely him.

Chelski got battered before, during & after, Leaburn got knocked out & we sent them into the playoffs ( where possibly they lost to Middlesborough ???)

As much as it absolutely pains me to use the word, I have to say it..... 'this'.

But, surely Leaburn would walk straight into any Charlton front line of the last 5 seasons?!

I just mean that I cant think of any particular questions, just seems a bit odd for him to suddenly be inviting questions
