They were Napoli fans? Oh right, when I turned the TV on I was trying to work out why Chelsea were playing Palace.

Lots of shiny puffer jackets, quality quilt wear not like out fake burberry efforts from Matalan!
  • I was at Victoria too. I turned up on the Gatwick express train where I was greeted with 20 police fully armed before I had even got through the gates.

There was easily a hundred of police in the full gear inside the station as well plus the dog squad outside, a bit overkill in my opinion. Yet again I have no knowledge of the Napoli fans but they sure looked like they should have a reputation.

The Europeans finally starting to arrive in England 'looking for it' in the last 5 or so years, after all these years, now the fv scene is dead here.

Yeah. Liberty eh? Fancy not wanting to come over in large groups before when they knew they were likely to get their fucking heads kicked in by morons just for having the temerity to look a 'bit forrin like'.

Instead they come over now in large groups calling it on with all and sundry like Ajax did in Manchester the other week!

Napoli is one of the poorest parts of Italy and has a high Maifa prescence, when Liverpool went over their last season I know slot of there supporters got attacked or chased by Napoli fans. On the return leg there was also a fight between both sets of fans.

The most embarrassing thing recently is how quiet English supporters are. Ajax and Bilbao support at Old Trafford was amazing. We used to be shit in Europe, but had brilliant support, now we're good, the support is utterly appalling

Wasn't that kit clash awful between Chelsea and Napoli last night? I think it's time that the authorities clamped down on what they'll let away teams wear, there needs to be a greater difference in colours.

Hardly surprising when you read forums like CL. You're not allowed to show passion anymore without someone misery complaining.

Middle class sport now, football at that level is an 'event' now.

Utterly appalling? Sorry, thats cobblers. Spurs took over 10,000 to Milan twice and Madrid in the CL last year. Even at 4-0 down in Milan and Madrid you could only hear us.

The Bilbao fans are absolutely mental. We played them pre-season at WHL and they must have brough around 2-3,000 over just for a friendly. Walking down the Tottenham High Road surrounded by them was an experience.

away fans always pipe up more in these games , new ground syndrome will increase the numbers for some of these fixtures and it sounds brilliant when there are decent numbers with passion there too

    ......................................

but then again we wouldn't really know that

& by all accounts they failed in any attempt to assert themselves with Chelsea turning them on their toes in every encounter. Only handy when they are on the back of a moped and stripe your arse with a blade.

Never the italians mate. They like it when numbers are in their favour and when they are armed with belts, blades and crash helmets on, like against Boro in Campo de Fiori.

Had the same thing in Italy 1990 World Cup in Sardinia
