    Had a tip in the 5.15... Champagn something or other, so got that at 12s and New Years Eve at 5s as its my birthday
    Did anyone take this? Romped home at 16s, gutted a didnt do the forecast, over 80/1!

    I had a pretty rubbish day, bar the first 2 races! Hope for better tomorrow. Might just go take a mortgage out and put it on big bucks....although apart from quevega my record with favs this week has not been great!!

    Might be worth backing solix in the first, as it's one of Nicky Hendeson horses, after the day he had yesterday. If it wins, I would be looking at the rest of his.

    Not that confident over today but broke even yesterday and some horses that have done me some favours in the past goong today so here goes:
    1.30. Sir des champs 2.05 buena vista 2.40 alberta's run 3.20 oscar whisky 4.00 divers 4.40 adams island. Taking a chance opposing big buck's but the henderson horses look good this week.

    Swing Bill e/w 20/1 Bet365 (5 places) in the Kim Muir at 4.40.
    Pipe's not having the greatest of Festival's but, back on decent ground, he could go very well today. He's won here just shy of this trip last November and his 3rd behind Fruity O'Rooney a week later looks decent after FOR's fine run on Tuesday. Hasten to add there's no stats or model to back this up for today's race, just my extremely unreliable nose.

    Brave man VG.....I'm strictly a one-trick pony.
    He and Sunnyhillboy are on my radar screen for the GN if either does the biz or goes close today but I hate backing favourites in handicaps so Swing Bill for me (I do think he's terrific e/w value at 20/1)
