We're picking up point(s) again and have stopped the rot, as they say. I think other results at the top have gone are way, but stand to be corrected. All news and views below please.

Over and out.

Still nine points clear, the others all have one less game to play catch-up in :-)
  • Not there but sounds like a very poor performance again. Win is essential on Tuesday now. Squeaky bum time methinks.

Nine points clear of 2nd/3rd with 9 games to play. We're still on course, chipping away at that target.

The team have been told to ease off so that more tickets for the final game are sold - as soon as March is over we'll start dominating.

Will be a decent point if we win on Tuesday.
Will be a poor point if we draw/lose on Tuesday.

Sounds like a terrible performance. We now face an in form Yeovil, and if we lose that the chasing pack will be right on our tails.

Don't quite see how the other results went our way. Our two rivals got a point and three points respectively so we're worse off than before the game. Still, if we get a point a game they'd have to get over two a game to overtake us. That statistic alone shows that we've still got a huge lead.

definitely two points lost - given our home record we have been relying on winning these sort of away games - also the safety gap for automatic promotion has been whittled down by another two points
  • Said in the week would take a point and I am glad we did stop the rot and move on

Happy to still have a 9 point lead but it sounded like we rode our luck today. Bring on the Yeovil tuesday and let's get over that bloody line by hook or by crook!

9 points clear at the top with 9 games to go.

Anyone not happy with that is an absolute loon (so I can imagine that plenty on here aren't happy with it).

Everyone drew except for Wednesday who got an excellent win at in form Notts County. I think everyone is being a bit negative here, United have 1 win in 4 I think so they're as bad as us at the moment!

Sheff U dropped 4 points in two games. Weds will slip up. Draws away from home are fine. If we're four down at half time on tuesday I might review this position.

Good news only Wednesday gained points on us, 9 clear with 9 to play, but I had a fear after the Colchester game that we are limping to the line now, good job United have had a slump recently as well.

Really need a win Tuesday night vs Yeovil which won't be easy, they are unbeaten in 8 and it's a Tuesday night game at home where we don't seem to perform . We seem very one dimensional the past few weeks and we haven't corrected it still 4 wins away from promotion

I went for a 1-1 before the game..........looking at the stats above we were not upto our usual standard (before the colchester game).........so must be happy with a point.............it will be interesting to see if CP brings in a face or two before Tuesday.........with just 2 fit strikers I think we need someone/two to freshen things up again.

A good point away from home against a team who are finding a bit of form. It was always going to be a tough one. Only Wednesday ( who looked to have the hardest task of the lot ) made up ground on us and the games are now running down.

We have a 20 goal a season striker

We didn't lose despite our "worst performance ever"

We are still 9 points clear despite not winning

We increased the gap to 7th to 23 points

We have time to get a new striker in. That guy at Wycombe could be OK. Haynes or something.

Waggy put a good cross in. Again.

Would agree but the problem here is our form. We are definitely not playing at all well and although the two sheffs have to pick up a point a game more than us just to catch us we are giving them hope which a few weeks ago was not the case. Yes I'm worried.

Weds are benefitting from the bounce a new manager brings, but I doubt they're going to win 9 of their next 9. The good thing is we can afford this form due to our unbelievable performance so far. Utd's form is worse than ours. Hopefully we'll get a decent win against Yeovil and push on and pick up some good results.

Need to keep a level head, lest we start sounding like the Wendies we made fun of only a couple of weeks ago..

Like others have said win on Tuesday and today is a good point. Think we may need a couple of loans in just to freshen things up with JJ going injured myabe a LM and a F.

I t was clear today we had nothing to really come from the bench.
