9 points clear at the top with 9 games to go.

Anyone not happy with that is an absolute loon (so I can imagine that plenty on here aren't happy with it).
Would agree but the problem here is our form. We are definitely playing at all well and although the two sheffs have to pick up a point a game more than jus just to catch us we are giving them hope which a few weeks ago was not the case. Yes I'm worried.

Man up SHG. It's NINE points with only NINE games left.

Anyone with any pedigree when it comes to supporting the Addicks will not be surprised we have taken the foot off of the gas. Squeaky bum all the way home methinks. Cmon Charlton.

I think every other team in the league would want to swap with us, only four more wins to get to 91 points plus some draws should be enough to take us up

I cant be anything other than happy overall with the day, 9 points clear with 9 to go, 91 other league clubs would swap places with us right now, we are limping over the line but a win on Tuesday and we will back on track

You're not going to win every week, and at this level, performance levels will drop.

It's good point considering the last two games, and a for Wednesday, seriously, chill out.

Would like Powell to bring Paul Hayes back , would like a cheeky bid to put in for beavon from Wycombe - him and Hayes seem and good partnership

further, is there anyone other then Reading in the pro leagues showing any consistant form. If anyone needs to worry about Wednesday its the other team in Sheffield, they've gone as well

If your glass is half-empty, refill the damn thing.

    1) We're 9 pts off 2nd & 3rd

    2) BWP's scoring again.

    That is all.

I still beleive we will go up as Champions, but it wouldn't be Charlton if we didn't slip, slide & stumble our way over the line............if we don;t then heaven help us.

CP (he dropped the Sir after 3 winless games) needs to sort a few things out - can't go into the run in with just 2 fit strikers & so I imagine Hayes will be back as soon as is allowed.

Tuesday is looking like a big game...........

But they weren't supposed to win. I mean seriously?

This time next week we could only be 3 points clear...how's that for negativity? ;-)

    Am I ever wrong.

In some ways I'm actually dreading the day our promotion gets confirmed, because then this place is going to be full of people worrying about next season.

Just enjoy our best season in Christ knows how long - all of you.

Need to win Tuesday now. Not because a loss would only leave us 6 points clear, but more so because it would leave everyone sh##ing themselves.

Be interesting to see the player marks as Hamer kept us in it by all accounts from the match thread.

Well done Wednesday, but c'mon we've given ourselves the right to have a couple of bad games.

Some people want us to fail, I'm convinced of that now

9 points clear of 3rd (which is all that counts) with 9 games to go is fantastic, but our form and momentum are not, if we win on Tuesday then great but the pressure is on, let's see if they can deal with squeaky bum time!

If I was a West Ham fan I'd be seriously worried, as they can't win and have been overhauled by Reading. As for us, I'm mildly concerned.

    Wednesday and United fans probably...

There are of course negative people who revel in their misery but come on, people don't WANT us to not win games. That's just silly.

So did Hayes and BWP at the start of the season.
    Who's the common denominator? ;-)

It seems that we are playing long ball tactics up to Yann instead of playing our passing game....to me thar shows a little lack of confidence right now....hope we can win Tuesday and turn it around with a good performance

Thinking of going to the Yeovil game. Problem is we really need to win that one and my current record on my Jackson's Five tickets are W1 D2 L1.

    So, uh, sorry
