    Ephraim and Cook are different sort of wingers anyway. Ephraim was right footed for a start, so frequently looked to cut inside rather than go on the outside. With Waggy forcing his way back into contention, Cook provides a more traditional winger-option on the left hand side.

    The "he can't cross" brigade would be out in full force if we had Waggy on the right and Ephraim constantly cutting in from the left.

    Lee Cook has a very good delivery into the box. In Kermorgant we have probably one of the best headers of the ball in English football. With Green on the other side I can see the arival of cook being fruitful. I hope so anyway.

    I like Cook as a player, though his best days are behind him. Problem is, is we don't need a slow winger with good control. The team needs more dynamic players, and Ephraim is way more busy.

    From what I remember, Cook is essentially an older left-footed Danny Green. There's no place for the both of them in the same side at the same time, any half decent winger/full back combination would tear the defence to shreds with Wiggins off form - Solly can't do it all alone though he'd give it a damn good go, Cort and Taylor are both a bit slow to be covering all the way out on the flanks often and Morrison is needed centrally as the best 'attacking' CB we've had since possibly Bougherra or even El Karkouri (in his prime that is.)

    That's not to say that Cook won't have a place in the ranks, but I highly doubt he was brought in as a game/form changing revelation, merely as a useful option.

    Jackson ain't no winger. He operates more as a third central midfielder, something that won't be as effective in the champ. Makes a bit of difference if you can score too? Still think we're desperate for a left or right midfielder that sets the opponents back ten yards, and often one who does that will be pacey.

    If Jacko is fit ,could the answer be to move him inside alongside Hollands and play Cook wide on the left ?

    Jackson may even go centre mid, but he will probably go with Pritch which i have no problem with whatsoever
