    Doubtful, good news is though that people seem to be shelling silly money for players. Bodes well for any Luke Young deal if you ask me.

    Doubt it. We were selling down.

    So if Konch is goes for £3.5m how much is Young worth. Answer: However much someone is willing to pay for him.

    Selling down ? What does that mean ? And if you mean he went down a division then so what ? Isn't that when you insert a sell on clause so that if they improve and get a big money move then you get 'compensated'.

    It's inflation. More TV and foreign money chasing the same number of players = price increases.

    Young is better, IMHO but it's the same as the Bent better that Henry arguement. Price isn't just about ability but age, contract length,fitness and cruically what someone will pay.
