I agree. I also hope Green has a chance to prove himself as well - the division might suit him more than this one.

Watching Charlton this season has been great. Quality players and commited performances have taken us to the brink of promotion. Does the squad as is have enough to progress and thrive in the Championship ? I doubt it. We certainly have the nucleus of a Championship team but without quite significant strengthening I can't see a Southampton or Norwich happening. If there are funds and we are able to strengthen tnen great but if we are not in a position to up the ante and we have to move slowly forward then that's fine too. I'm happy with what's happening at The Valley and feel we are in the right hands.0
