In keeping with the general standard of comments on this site tonight, can I just say that I thought Sam Bartram was rubbish.

I mean, how many games did he play? And not one goal scored.

    Hard to pin the blame on Sam. It was the ne'er do well Jimmy Seed that was the cause of all our woes.

    He did hit the crossbar once and then had to run all the way back to clear off his own line!

    Completely statuesque today. Looked totally unfit.

    Never commanded his box, never came for crosses and never moved whenever Walsall had a shot at goal.

    Definitely need someone more Athletic.

    Is it just me or has Sam looked lazy this last 50 odd years, I think we need to replace him next year when (if) we get promoted, no room for sentiment for him or Jackson, sack em both!

    Not only did he fail to score, but he was out penalty taker (once) and still couldn't put it in the net. Useless!

    I saw him outside the West Stand today and asked for an autograph for my young neice who is poorly. He completely blanked me, cam accross as a real prima donna, not the type of character we need associated with the club.

    I saw him earlier standing outside the West Stand. He was looking quite bronzed, so I guess he's been away somewhere - but during the season?!

    I'm disappointed at the nonsense on this thread. He has been MASSIVE for us this season and hasn't let in a single goal. I wanted to make him my POTY but his name wasn't on the list. Sort it out Powell...

    Think you are all being a bit unkind here. He has kept a watchful eye on the car park, day and night ,in all weather, for years and probably hasn't been paid for it! That's dedication for you. Mind you he's snookered when the fog comes in.

    Exactly, all that time watching the car park but done nothing about the pot holes.

    Complete waste of time, drop him (but not on your foot as that might hurt a bit)
