wondering if anyone else thinks his dip in form and confidence over the past couple of months is due to Jordan Rhodes goalscoring - meaning that he wont win the golden boot for league 1. I would imagine at his age it was something that would of been motivating him until Rhodes pulled ahead.

Get Out Of Jail FREE Card Having said that he has been wonderful for us this season, 21 goals is a great return and I have no complaints over the course of a fantastic season generally

    I did wonder myself if Rhodes scoring so many more goals than BWP did slightly de-motivate him. It must be something a striker thinks about. Still BWPs best ever season though.

    Do you really think his lack of goals in mid-season was because a competitor at another club was scoring loads? Really?

    Strikers have spells when they can't stop scoring and other times when they can't buy a goal. However BWP has had injury problems over the last few years and I've a feeling that he's played more football this season (and there's the training and travelling that need to be factored in) and that is taking a toll.

    No golden boot but a championship medal will suffice. Wonder who is next up for cross examination. Solly for being too small, Wiggins for being too Welsh, Kermorgant for having a name with too many letters in or maybe the pigeon for making too many passes round the pitch?
