“Charlton is a very big club and I’m very happy here.”
That won't please the lads at Milwall will it, LOL.

Really hope we don't sign him, don't think he is good enough for a mid table + team in the champ which is what we should be aiming for next season

He's got four games to prove his worth and I don't think he's done that bad so far.

Looks better than Cole to me as he has a better attitude. Has played left wing and scored, right wing and scored. Helps out in defence and adds hight at free kicks as shown on Sat. Also likes the fact that Kermit and N'G moved to opposite wings for goal kicks which gave their backs a problem. Not sure as where he would play, and therein lies the problem. Think I like him though. Time will tell and I would like him to have the chance to show what he can do over a longer period - but I am happy to leave it for SCP to decide one way or the other.

We need a song for N'Guessan!
  • I thought he already had a song?

Dare I be controversial , I love BWP to bits but from what I've seen of Danny NG he links up better with Yann, didn't they play alongside each other at Leicester?

I think it's great that our friends at Millwall are helping us get promoted just when we needed help.

I'd be happy with him as a squad player perhaps but not as a champ starter.

It's good to have another physical option in attack. He's scored 3 important goals for us as well so I couldn't be happier with him right now. Seems like a nice bloke as well, though I'm judging that entirely from his interviews and his reactions when he scores

    Cool name.
  • Love his interviews, he's one cool dude. Just what we needed at this stage of the season. He knows what it takes to get over the finish line (at Southampton) and has come in with a freshness and lack of nerves that has benefited the whole team.
CP has found us another ex Leicester gem.

He has certainly provided a massive impetus with his goals and on monday I thought he put in a good shift as well
Certainly didn't deserve my early appraisal as a kakpo alike
Not what I'd want for next year but may be a back up squad member at best
Good luck to him his contribution has been immense !

Powell seems to highly rate him from the interviews I've heard. Wouldn't be at all surprised if he signed him in the summer.

In the programme , I think , N'Guessan said that he spoke to powell before and said he'd play for him one day
And you can tell that these players really want to play for SCP , he has a certain quality in him that I'm sure pushes the players on that extra bit and manages to squeeze every ounce of ability out of his players

  • Not sure what's not to like. Strength, energy, pace has scored goals and seems very committed.

I have been enjoying my humble pie the last couple of weeks because I was in the "under whelmed" camp when we signed him.

Garymanilow sums the guy up nicely and I would like to add he has one hell of a shot on him as well, he likes a dig from outside the box.

    Long may it continue

I think Millwall are taking a long term view. They want us to get promoted so that they can start next season with a guaranteed 6 points. In a similar vein, we'd be looking for West Ham's promotion bid to fail so they can hand points to us on a plate.

6 points ! Revenge is a dish best served cold.

He has been around, learnt the game and a lot of the language. he's got a great attitude, he's big and tough, 24 years old, he is well worth signing for next season .. he's the right size, age and even if he isn't a Lionel Messi, he's got talent and is now scoring goals.

i dont think he is good enough at the expense of a few good laughs from my mates and all those around me in the north upper you all know who you are, but all the the time i keep saying how sh-te he is and he keeps scoring i will continue to do so for the sake of my football club.

What's not to like is his ball control, which isn't great.
However, he has made a vital contribution & I'm happy whether we sign him or get someone we feel would be even better.
