  • I don't think we'll be seeing much of 'crazy' again.

I've seen enough crazy for tonight :-0

Don't help people saying you can get that cheaper down the road.

If he used his loaf he'd realise that, I don't think there's any need for people to pipe up with, 'what are paying that much for' or 'I could make you one of those for £20' when Henry is trying to raise some dough.

If you don't wanna bid I think you should mind your own.

I'll stand outside a couple of people's places of business and telling the customers they can get it cheaper elsewhere, see how that goes down.

Oh pipe down you moany witch. He bid that to close the bid. Assumed he knew he was paying well over the odds but was making a gesture for that well known charity....

In fairness that was said after it had already hit £40, which was a fantastic bid. You're spot on though.

If they can then that's fair enough.

But this isn't a business, so your analogy is floored from the off.

    Guys, can we leave it.

CAFC Crazy is the only person who needs to man up here and pay what he promised to pay NOW.

He logged on again tonight and has ignored this thread and the inbox messages he has been sent.

Crazy, I was going to say this to you in private but you've not had the bottle to reply to my messages. You said you are going in the Navy soon. I'll tell you now that when you are there you will need to back up your words with actions which I fear is something you will struggle to do.

If you promise to do something, to complete a task or back up a colleague you better be prepared to deliver because there will be no running away or hiding behind what you think is a neat joke on ship.

When you look at it like that - flawed/floored - the meaning is pretty much the same.

    1) The navy/ any military force changes people for the better as I am sure will change me.

    2) I have messaged you apologising for the confusion and have offered you a £20 donation and to re-auction the mug which you have refused.

    3) DO not mention my private life to a negative effect on CL or any open forum again as you have no right to, how would you like it if i was to do the same.

I'd like you to man up and pay what you owe rather than 20% of it.

No need to apologise for the confusion buddy - there wasn't any !

You bid in an auction and you were the winning bidder.

The auction has been sabotaged by a bidder who has bottled it.

Me and henry have settled it. I am generally sorry to whom ever I have upset by making a mickey mouse bid but I generally did not realise the bid was real and wasn't to be taken seriously. I have agreed to contribute £20 to the charity as a token of good will. Again I am sorry to Henry and who else I may have annoyed.
