The best song in my opinion is "Valley Floyd Road", it unique, it's original and it's our song!

I also love singing "We're Charlton Athletic, we're top of the league". Hope to hear it sung plenty of times next season too! Also like "Chris Solly...." and "Adams Family" always makes me smile!

Worst song for me "your support is......"

I love VFR but the golf clap at the end is really annoying. I swear we used to just sing it on repeat, the only reason I can think of is that new fans in the Prem era liked to give themselves a pat on the back after learning the words, and it's since stuck.

Best: Take your pick from the two Chris Solly songs.
Worst: Johnnie Jackson runs down the wing for me.

    from this season...
    best-
    you'll always get passed semedo.

    worst-
mainly because i'm just board of it... we're top of the league/he's better than Shaun/all the other versions.

if we must do it, i suggest for next season using the whole song like the cricket fans do. it just sounds better and like the one we use can easily be adapted.
for me its a bit like the eieieio song, better when sang fully.

I'd forgotten about the Huddersfield 'you can shove your f888ing record up your arse', that was classic!

VFR is the best. Worst, it's not a song per se, but the "you're shit! ahhhhhhhhhhh!" wouldn't be missed much.

definitely the record one to Hudds. Enjoyed singing the Semedo one at Wednesday too.

Getting a bit bored of the songs to the same old tunes (bwp song, we're top the league)

Good man. We'll never had an ultra section or music after a goal.

    Best: Chris Solly...5ft 3

Worst: Adams Family. Granted it only came out a few times this season but why oh fking why are we still singing this shyte?

Sorry for the language but that song really really really makes me mad. It should only ever have been sung to Norwich and now I wouldn't even want us to sing it to them. It's not like we even came up with it.

I seem to be in a very small minority with the Solly/Terry song, if they played in the same position I can see it working but given they don't I just find it a little odd.

BEST: Gotaa agree that when the whole crowd do CAFC it does feel good. Of the 'unique' chants, the Huddersfield one!

WORST: Anything to that tune that came into fashion this year (the 'he scores when he wants' tune) is grating, as is the use of the Addams Family tune as mentioned above - when we were using it against teams from a few miles up the road it was time to call it a day.

It's a rip-off of the Spurs song - Ledley/ only got one kneee - which is why it won't get my vote!

Its the fa cup, who gives a fcuk was brilliant @ fulham
  • VFR for me is, and always will be the best Charlton song. If only we sang it a little slower!

Maybe a rendition of 'stand up, if we're going up' might finally get some fans out of their seats!

Worst: anything sung by the soloist moron in G block north upper.

Doubt it very much. If a full blown evacuation proceedure of the North Stand never worked earlier in the season can't this being a success story.

Miguel Llera, he ain't got a clue was a good moment.

Anything slagging off fans of smallish northern clubs for no good reason was not.

A few seasons ago when we played Norwich last day of the season, 95% of the ground were standing while singing 'Stand Up if you're going down'...

I think Nottingham Forest started using the tune of Paul Mccartneys Mull of Kintyre before us.

And cheerleaders. Frigging cheerleaders I tell you and a bird of prey. Layers of cringe when I think about it!

    I. Love. The. Bouncey Bouncey song.
  • VFR. But as a one off the Huddersfield record one was quality, especiailly when I'm sure it was followed by 'Charlton Athletic, we're top of the league" at one point - you've got a dodgy record, we're top.

Worst - the Addams family is nonsensical and completely witless.
