Dilemma

Tomorrow's game kicks off at 4pm local time. The wine monopoly closes at 3pm. Do I go with my head and leave the champagne purchasing for another week (but then run the risk of being without should the unexpected happen) or do I tempt fate and buy to be on the safe side?

Buy. Drink to celebrate or to drown sorrows.
  • Drink cider offer on all week

Acquire a friendly local to attend the champagne sale on your behalf, with the obvious benefit of a bottle for their troubles. Plan their return to you with a bottle on ice pending possible promotion
  • Hmm that pre-supposes finding a swede who is prepared to stop after only one bottle. I am away next week-end (in a country without draconian licensing laws), what do you think the chances of my champagne still being around in 2 weeks' time are?

Buy it. You can always save it for next week, or the week after ....
  • I did. But as mentioned I will be in Copenhagen next week so I have to be prepared to splash out again
