That bloke we signed from Southend, left for Swindon. See he left the ground during warm up today when his wife went into labour. Must have happened when he took her up the Oxo Tower ;-))

Must have been a bit risky getting his wife to take part in the warm-up
  • She must have been overdue.

    Congratulations to them both.

Left us and is now captain of the promotion team. So maybe the comments of impersonating a footballer or stealing a living were unfair.

A really nice guy, he was devastated at his form last season and has proved that he's not as bad as many have said.

Congrats to him and his Missus.

Point being was, he was a decent player, did'nt get off to a good start, fans got on his back etc.
Best we could get at the time, everyone moves on and I peronally wish him all the best. Not doing too bad at Swindon is he?

Congrats, the worst player I've seen play for us, but that doesn't and shouldn't detract from a moment of happiness.

Faye was poor but in the Premiership as opposed to the third division.

That said I can only assume BFR is too young to have seen Barry Endean, Gary Churchouse, a geriatric Maurice Setters and various other luminaries of the ancient past.
  • Lens right. We have had a lot worse tha Macca.

Gary Churchouse .....makes me shudder, ha ha.

Then there was Dennis Bailey, Mike Small .....no, I'll leave it right there.

Alan McCormack had a decent track record at his other clubs, just didn't work out for him at Charlton.

Congrats to him and his missus.
