I want all detractors of Bradders to look carefully at the wonderful pictures posted by Jarvo on the Match-pictures v Carlise thread and to take note. Bradley is seen in exactly the right position for a striker to adopt and is surrounded by SEVEN Carlise players PLUS GOALKEEPER and yet still gets to the ball first to score the goal that secures our promotion and his 22nd goal of the season. This is exactly what great goalscorers can do and is why Bradley is exactly that. A great goalscorer and yes probably better than Shaun. This should end all the arguments and nonsense spoken about the best striker we have had since Darren Bent.

I think he may be a shy person which can sometimes come across as rude or not bothered. He also is as any good forward should be goal hungry and if he don't score he is not happy. I think some fans mistake the above as not a team player or he don't care.0

He's unfortunate in that it's a criticism that's always going to follow him round. It's ridiculous and unfair but it's permanently associated with him now. At the Colchester game there were some proper idiots behind me and BWP lost out in the air to Magnus, who is about 40ft tall, and they screamed blue murder and him and finished with 'he's just there to pick up his wage, nothing else'. I think BWP was on about 18 goals at this point. The good thing is a well-paid professional sportsman can quite happily ignore some morons in the crowd.0

Why is it "permanently associated" with him?
He's had a great season, has answered questions about his fitness and ability to last a season, his work rate has been phenomenal more so as his striking partner plays deep meaning he often has to compete for the ball without much close support. Alongside a more traditional centre-forward his goal return would have been even higher.0 -

Well said. He has excellent since we bought him. Even in his barren spell he worked his socks off. The road to this promotion was begun on the day we signed BWP.0

It was a tap in, but he picked the right place to be in ahead of seven surrounding Carlisle players. No luck involved in that.
I'm getting an increasing feeling that he is really happy playing for Charlton too. This is the most successful season he has had and the title will be his first ever piece of silverware.

Bwp is a genius of a player and since about February his work rate has definitely doubled. He is sharper and keener and far more positive than he was and has earnt his place in the team. His strengths are that he is primarily a poacher, has a great turn of pace, and with the ball mainly on the ground is a really great player. In the air , and I know he has scored plenty with his head, it is pointless playing the ball for him to out-head a defender and expecting him to muscle other players off the ball is pointless but for finding space, for his perseverance in attack he has been a star this season. Yes he did have a spate where he had to look at his attitude towards his work rate between December and February but happily I would say he has matured enormously as a player this season and he does what noone else in the team can do as professionally and that is poach (a bit like Lineker) so here's to you Bradley ; you may well be meeting your brother next season.0

Brad has been excellent for us. Though I'm not sure how one single photo, categorically proves anything. I can't see him being so effective next season. He will be a very important player but we'll need someone who effectively runs channels to pull defenders around, against significantly better defences in the champ.
Hopefully will start great guns in summer, then we'll have to see. He ain't a player for winter in the champ when your whole outfield ten needs to be fighting and you need your strikers to be forcing defenders deep.0
