The clubs name has been muddied by financial issues for years. Let's not reward the new owners with another £25,000.00 of fine to pay off.0 -

Perhaps they should base the fine on an amount per person on the pitch, let's make it fair FA.. Let's say £100 per person.0

Regarding pitch invasions, my mate is a Leeds fan and ran on the pitch (he was about 17) when they got promoted at Bournemouth in 1989 (the same day we lost 1-0 at Old Trafford in our last game in the old Division One).
Anyway, he ran across the pitch and caught up with Gordon Strachan who was trying to weave his way back to the dressing rooms through the invaders, the conversation went as follows....
Mate: "Well done Gordon, f++++g brilliant!"
Strachan: "Get off the f++++g pitch you wee prick."
He never did invade the pitch again after that - and he still hates Strachan to this day because of it!0
