The £5 programme for the Hartlepool game

In line with the cutbacks over the years I think the quality of our programme has gradually shrunk and is not so good as it was five years ago.

No doubt the Hartlepool prog will be very good, so hopefully going up a league on the pitch will also mean that on the programme front.

The amount of clubs with seemingly less money than us that produce a better programme is both disappointing and puzzling

I'd love one, but the club's ridiculous shipping charges to the US - about $25 (15 pounds) for one item, $65 (40 pounds) for multiple items - make that kind of a no go. When I lived in New Cross, shipping my stuff back here wasn't THAT expensive.

(That said, I would never say no if one offered to buy it and I covered shipping costs...)

Yesterday was the first home game of the season that I didn't get a programme as they sold like hot cakes.

Don't know why I bother actually, as I never take my reading glasses with me, so can't read it at HT and by the time I get home I just don't get around to it.

Will get one next game though as I'm sure it'll be a nice souvenir edition....................

Even though I only attended three games when there, I always made the effort to head down to the Valley and pick one up on Saturday afternoons whenever possible.
