Powell definetly likes Schlupp, but he has been getting into the Leicester team since Pearson took over I believe (apart from when he was injured).0
-
Anthony Wordsworth - Colchester
Michail Antonio - Reading
Karleigh Osborne - Brentford
Simon Cox - WBA
Greg Halford - Portsmouth (probably controversial, this one)0 -
An additional coach who fits in would be good as well - if the midfield/attack could be as well coached as the defence we'd all be smiling.0

Steve Jones could do a job0 -
Why? Better than Chris Solly?

Not necessarily better (in fact, definitely not). But we need back up for Chris - Halford knows the league and as well as backing up Solly, could maybe cover other positions.

He's only six foot three
He's better than John Terry
Greg Halford, Halford
Doesn't work does it?
Bit like Greg when he played for us.0 -
It what world would we ever get Lallana?powelly said he had an 'A' and 'B' shopping list for the summer, i think there will be one or two signings that raise an eye brow or 2 in the championship from the 'A' list all depends on how quickly the true owners want us back in the prem
Powell revealed the details at a recent meeting ...
'A' list:
Anthony Wordsworth
Adam Lallana
Albert Adomah (top priority)
Andy King
'B' list:
Billy Sharp
Michael Bostwick
Lee Barnard
George Boyd
Tal Ben Haim

I'm really against any players coming back at this point (apart from Bent!!! or maybe Shelvey on loan). Think we've moved on, certainly don't want to see Halford.

Pearson or whoever is in charge will likely to be given another big pot to spend in close-season, striker is a favourite area to spend and Schlupp is likely to drop down order from bench.0 -
The guy can play RB or RM and as already said "knows" the league. Not a guaranteed starter but a season is about a squad, not a first eleven.

I think some people need to have a bit of a reality check!
People like Halford and and Carson will be on 10k minimum! Not a chance in hell that we'll be paying that sort of money for middle of the road players like them, if at all.0 -
Baffled that so many people want Varney back. His record has been just as poor at the sides he's joined since leaving us.
Agreed, hard worker without a doubt but all i can think about is the miss against Burnley when he took it past the keeper & still couldn't finish into an open goal.0 -
Michael Kightly, Anthony Wordsworth, Simon Cox, Joel Ward, Nick Powell
That'll dink dank doo for me....
Think 4 of those are possible but Powell will be on the way to a Prem club0 -
Better than anyone ??????
Why? Better than Chris Solly?
Greg Halford - Portsmouth (probably controversial, this one)0 -
Simeon Jackson - Norwich (potential loan or signing)
Gareth McCleary - (free)
Josh McEachran - (Loan, After not playing at all for Swansea I could see him dropping a level to get game time.)
Ledesma - (Another one Like McEachran, it would be good to have a creative in our midfield next season.)

Wouldnt mind having Ephraim back.0

Definitely Ephraim. I'd also love to see Parrett back at the club, think he's got some promise.0
-
simon cox. he's been quoted as saying he wants more game time and he's a goalscorer.0

I would want better signings than those two.If we are thinking of Div 1 signings my realistic ones would be:
Magnus O,Karleigh Osbourne,Stephen Gleeson,Anthony Wordsworth,Stephen Quinn.
Realistic Championship signings:Jason Puncheon.Lee Barnard

that could be a good call

Magnus O and Karleigh Osborne are both out of contract and would be very decent free transfers.0
-
Think Covered End Jnr needs to get his list together to give to Powell at the end of the season.0
-
Schlupp I think will be one of our signings maybe on a season loan with view to buy at end.0

I think I will leave it to him this year

Simon Cox wants to leave WBA, probably will end up in the Championship so hopefully we'll be in with a shot.
Scored plenty in League 1, got a few for WBA when they went up and definitely has a point to prove. Fits in with Powells policy of signing young and hungry players. Can also play in midfield.0
