Unless I'm reading it wrongly, they are spending money to advertise the last 1,500 tickets for what could be their biggest game of the season - surely that's a game they don't need to advertise, or am I missing the point ?

    When the advert was sanctioned, maybe they assumed Saints would already be promoted and this would only be a game to help prepare for the play offs?

    they advertise a lot on talkSPORT .. and have the cheek to charge a booking/handling fee for tickets bought online or over the phone

    The parachute payments improved a lot the season after we went down from the premier... Not sure how much the likes of west ham will get next season if they miss out on promotion, but I doubt £32 a ticket will go that far to pay some of their players wages.
