I had a call a few mins back from my office (off sick-ish today) saying water is running down our lift shafts and the risers next to our computer room (plus the two floors above ours are resembling paddling pools). It will be just my luck to have to trek up to Kingsway and shut everything down before the water eventually causes the power to give out.

Well the wedding i was going to this weekend has been cancelled as the hotel has been flooded. My poor friends, a year in the planning and they got told to turn around and drive back home yesterday as the hotel was under water. Poors b'stards.
