    Funny seeing Alan Simonsen, remember my dad taking me to see him play Newcastle, Keegan was supposed to play and it was being massively hyped as 2 Euro players of the year up against each other. Don't think Keegan played in the end. Remember being really excited though.

    Really, I watched that game on TV and could have sworn he got subbed at half-time?

    Not that it really matters much, he was the only player in my whole time following Charlton that I saw on the pitch for the first time and thought "Who the hell is this bloke?" I had no idea we even had a player by that name at the club.

    That was the game when Dowie played JFH in the hole behind Dazza and Dickhead - the only problem being we could not actually get the ball as we had no midfield.....

    I was being sarcastic in a friendly way, as my name is I_SAW_POUSO_PLAY, look at any other thread that mentions Pouso and i'll make out Pouso was the best Charlton player ever. Childish but oh well.

    This game was on TV (back in the days when very few games were even recorded) I've got a copy somewhere. It was obvious how good he was, and obvious how the rest of the side were on a different wavelength as him.
