What match did you really go on to win promotion? For me it was MK Dons at home, 14 Feb 2-1

I had a feeling since signing Danny Green. I kept telling people "If we sign him we're up! JJ on the left, Danny on the right!".

But it wasn't til we beat Udders and ended their record that I really knew.

After we won 2-0 at Sheff U in October I thought we would get promoted. To be fair I never thought we would do it in the way we have but as I had fancied Sheff U at the start to be one of the contenders, when we beat them I felt confident that we would do it. After the two Sheffield games I 'knew' we would be going up and felt we would be champions.

When I saw us turn Bournemouth over at home quite comfortably with what 7, 8 (?) players making their debut.

Huddersfield at home, the way we blew them away. Was always confident but that one confirmed it to me.

    Sheffield United at home.
But during the season getting results at Nott's County, Yeovil, Colchester etc were signs we should be going up.

Probably when we beat Sheff United 0-2 at theirs. I wasn't there but that result sealed the deal for me and that we were going to have a pretty special season ahead.

Brentford at home. 2 days after playing with 10 men sort of game we'd draw but got through it.

I had an awful feeling that we could blow it when Hollands got sent off against Oldham. By the end of the game I knew we were up.
In many ways more emotional than the Carlisle match, the Oldham game summarised why I love supporting this club so much.
  • Wednesday away for me. Plenty of games where I thought we would go up. That game at Hillsborough made me believe
