Westley clearly wants his own team there, drastic stuff, but then Powell has set the blueprint for starting with a clean sheet of paper and recruiting a new team! Darel Russell is transfer listed incidentally...

    Wouldn't mind Danny Mayor, he looked class in the carling cup against us.

    I would also say no to Russell as we can do better (Coutts).

    I'm surprised Nicky Hunt has fallen so far, he looked very promising for Bolton (several England U21 appearances and is only 28)

    To be fair golfeaddick normally I've a team in your division tried to get rid of their entire squad thete'd be one you'd have - I really wouldn't, including the one we had on loan this year

    id say only the young players that haven't "made it" or been given a chance, they'll be hungry to succeed. Don't want any players looking for a paycheck/on their way down.

    If the new batch they get in don't work out under Westley then he will be absolutely crucified.

    I get the feeling that the Powell/Charlton reshuffle worked because the fans were willing to support the manager and try and get a good vibe going. I just can't see Preston fans having the patience with Westley to do that.

    Am I alone in thinking Russell did a fairly good job for us? Is he good enough for Championship? He was, but who knows now. I see him as more of a fringe player if we go for him.
