for some PCs using certain video cards CTRL+ALT plus an arrow key rotates the screen, should be a good one to try on an unsuspecting colleague, plus give IT support a headache, pleases report succeses

My favourite recent one was sending a screenshot to a group of mates of some messages with one of their sisters (who is FIT) as a the wallpaper in the background. He went mental but we all thought it was hilarious.

He didn't even realise I knew who his sister was.

Weirld I tried to do this to myself today as I couldn't be bothered to rotate a picture. Turns out my computer doesn't do it. That used to be the main stay of work pranks. That, and sellotape on the phone so that it doesn't answer when you life the handset.

Change the click button on the mouse to the right hand side rather than the left hand side. when person moans, you use it and say it's fine

when someone was on holiday I moved the 0 to the front and shifted all the other numbers to the right by one. He put his password in wrong 3 times and locked himself out of his machine.

When I worked at Wimpy in Dartford, we used to get the newbies to lug a fire extinguisher to B&Q to ask for it to be filled with fresh water as the current water was past its expiry date.

Have done this to the totally IT challenged bloke that sits behind me. Half the team now anxiously awaiting his return to see how he copes! He has trouble with the most basic computer-related tasks, so I'm expecting a complete meltdown, followed rapidly by a call to the offsite IT helpdesk :-)

We didnt do that - it was the fast food version of the store, not the sit down and eat off of plates one. No brown derbies either.

Switch the keyboard over to German settings - identical to English settings except that the Z and the Y are transposed.
