Stag do in Bulgaria

Anyone been to Sofia before? If so any ideas as what to do, decent pubs, sightseeing, restaurants, gentlemen's clubs etc.. Was planning to go to the coast for week (Sunny Bay), but it worked out too expensive, so a long weekend in Sofia was the way to go, supposedly the cheapest beer in Europe. Staying in the Dedleman Princess Hotel near the tram station (it has a casino!). Not my stag, but I have been put in charge of entertainment.

    I went in November with a group of lads. For a dencent concentrated area of bars and clubs it is worth getting a very cheap cab to Studentski Grad, go there at night. In the day it is worth having a walk around the centre, plenty of places to eat and drink, very cheap. Locals very serious but I found them all friendly.
