He sued his former employees which makes getting employment a bit tricky.

Curbs seems to be insisting he won't take a non premier job so this rules out birmingham. I don't think the suing thing has much relevance, he has been out so long now that a Premier team would have a lot of more recently experienced managers to choose from.

I personally think that if he really wants to get back into management he will have to take a championship job.

Curbs seems to get plenty of TV work so why not stick to it and not have the stress and pressure of being a manager.
  • Personally, I think he is past his sell-by date

He rejected wolves so he must be extremely patient

Wasn't Pullis out of the game for a long period before Stoke?

He was very astute to reject Wolves - timing wise it was a poisoned chalice. Agree that his best chance is going to be with a struggling premiership or a Championship club he has to build. Has he the desire to do that? I think it is a loss to the game that Alan Curbishley isn't managing in it!

Stoke took him from Plymouth. Stoke is probably the type of team that would look at Curbs if Pulis ever went. But, as I have said before, he does a huge amount of TV work that isn't seen in the UK and that probably pays him as much as many Championship managers would earn but without the pressure.

Saw him out in Singapore several years ago, if he is still doing that kind of work then he will probably stick with that, can't see him wanting all the aggro that goes with being a league manager again.
