    Rather than continuing to bail out banks, the money should be given directly to citizens to decrease their mortgages.

    This would increase spending and spur the economy back into growth.

    Thanks JiMMy, we'd soon have the trams running on time again on matchdays. But at the moment I think the Dept. of Pensions would be more useful. An immediate increase would help pay the gas and electric bills that have just arrived.
