I assume there are still home shirts available, and that the store will be open throughout this week? I want to get the home shirt but wasn't around on Saturday.

Saw somebody wearing one of the new shirts on a Jubilee Line train at West Ham this afternoon.

The red is certainly a different shade to past kits.

We brought my boy a home shirt that was priced at £34 on the label and when we got home we saw on the receipt that we had paid £35, so an extra £1 went into the charlton coffers, what is the correct pruce and can I have my pound back:-)

I'm 5 foot 9 and weigh about 10 stone. Had to buy XL boys as the 'small' size must've been based upon the frame of a very large small person put it that way!

  • Will get the black kit purely for some loungewear and the novelty of having the gold patches on it as I think the black and white will look smart. Might pick up a polo and some shorts as well if they look okay.

Oohaah, when I went down there yesterday that had XS boys which would have probably fit a 4 year old?

After I looked for a while I asked an assistant if they had any smaller than 6-8 year olds and they just said that all they had was out........ but they were opening boxes of kit while I was there
So prolly my fault for not looking hard enough
I'll have another look when I go get the badges etc on the other kit
    Cheers plaaaaayer

Got my shirt on Saturday. Maybe it's just the smaller sizes that come up small. The L and XL seemed about typical, in that the L is just a little too snug for me and the XL slightly on the baggy side. The red is very very slightly darker than "charlton red" if comparing the reds on the shirt and the badge, but certainly not a deal breaker. Overall it's a nice kit, no where near the best we've had, but no where near the worst. The only thing I'd really change is to have a white collar. It's a fairly traditional design, so I would have liked that traditional element. In an ideal world I'd have liked it to be the same design as the England away shirt (though obviously red and white instead of dark and light blue), definitely prefer the cotton-like feel of the England shirt to the nylon-like Charlton shirt.

What is the difference between this and the replica kit apart from material and price?

Is it just me or has anyone else found the sizing slightly different to Macron. I wore a medium macron shirt and they were perfectly fine and sometimes a tad big but the medium nike feels a bit tight. I've compared the two together to check that it isn't just me getting bigger!!

The annoying thing is I can't exchange sizes as I got the gold badges on there even though I got no name/number
