Queens Park Rangers are waiting for the results of X-rays after new signing Simon Walton suffered a suspected broken leg on Friday evening.
The midfielder, 19, joined QPR from Charlton last week, but was injured in their friendly against Fulham.

"It appears he's broken his leg, but we should know more in the next 48 hours or so," Rangers manager John Gregory told his club's website.

"It looks like our worst suspicions will be confirmed."

Looks like he won't ever get to play at the Valley. QPR match is 27th October - can't see him being fit in time for that.

He did play at The Valley in last year's pre-season friendly v New Zealand - if that counts?

    Well...it does and it doesn't! :o)
I was thinking along the lines of competitive matches.
