I've brought the blue and red training jerseys to wear on matchdays on the basis that I really dislike the sponsor layout on the top.
I feel like such a snob, but I also blame the sponsor for making me feel this way

The leisure wear section now features as 'images coming soon' the Essentials and Evolution t-shirts. That's Avec stuff unfortunately.

So, a 100% cotton polo is £15 cheaper than the 100% recycled polyester version. I know were my money would be.

halesbeard...........sorry, but the home shirt red is not the correct shade; you can tell that from the pictures on the website where the website banner is the correct colour and the shirt, well, isn't! Really disappointed.

It looks the same as the Arsenal centenery retro kit from a few years ago

I have the new home shirt and it's clearly not the right shade of red (the badge and shirt are similar but different reds). Still, it's a very very nice shade of red, so I'm not sure why people are complaining about it. We've had at least half a dozen shades of red on our kits over the last 20 years, and this is one of the nicer shades.

randy......................as the owner of every single home and away shirt going back to the 80's, I can assure you that this new 'shade' is significantly different to any 'red' I own (even after Mrs Meldrew has done here worst in the laundry department!!). It simply aint red! Disappointed to the point of disgust.................and don't even start me on the 'it's just an expensive polo shirt' arguement!! :-(

Well the Joma shirts were by and large the right red. The MESH home shirt was almost salmon coloured after a year. The last Admiral kits was quite dark. The macron kits looked reasonably correct, but some of the early 90s shirts were all sorts of different shades. Looking at this current shirt closely it is very slightly darker than the badge. But nothing like as bad as some people are making out (disgust, really, over slight differences of shade of red?). It's also important to point out that the club shop and most photos, aren't a good place to compare colours, it's harsh, artificial lighting, that will exaggerate some parts of the spectrum, whilst washing out others. In fact, even if the shirt was the perfect shade, it'd still look different to the badge under certain lighting as the two are made of different materials.

And as for the comparison to the Arsenal shirt, behave, talk about gross exaggeration!

It is not the normal red but I like it, I wasn't sure until I saw it and as soon as I did I was won over. As others have said if you don't like it save your money.
