Pre-season bets

Ok money where your mouth is time. I've gone for

1. Charlton to get promoted (15/8)
2. Charlton to be the top London club in the division (6/5)
3. Luke Varney to be top scorer in the division (20/1) - each way, top 3 pays
4. Darren Bent to be top Prem scorer (20/1) - each way, top 4 pays (call me sentimental!)

All odds quoted were what I got with Victor Chandler yesterday. (You can still get slightly better odds elsewhere, but VC was the best value all round - and I'm too lazy to open loads of different accounts!)

    It didin't let me do that - not online anyway. would be worth a nugget of anyones dosh though.

    can anyone explain why each way pays top 4 in prem, but only top 3 in championship ?

    You wouldn't be able to do it as a multiple.

    There are 3 'related' bets in there, so the most you could do is put the Benty bet with one of the CAFC bets in a double.

    Darren Bent is 22-1 on the Paddy Power site (via CAFC.co.uk) but only 7/4 for Charlton promoted (6-1 champions)

    i've laid us (backed us NOT to win the league) on betfair at 7-1 it's buying money imo ...but i'd love to lose the bet!!

    Backed Bent e/w at 33/1 before the pre-season friendlies.
    As he seemed to score in each one there's been plenty of money for him so he's in to 20/1.

    Hope he has good start the season and gets back into the England reckoning.
    If Owen doesn't score regularly/gets injured again there's a vacancy alongside Rooney.
    Would love to Dazza filling it...
