    Just to spell it out to you. If Airman Brown and Prague Addick are prepared to post what they have on here then you better believe there is a fecking problem. They have no agenda. If it was not for these two gentlemen we would not even have a Club. Can't you just accept that we are in shit creek without a paddle. Or are they just making it all up for a laugh?

    OK. I predict we will play all of our fixtures next season.
    In a bad situation scenario we start the season minus 20 points, and with a weakened, but not completely decimated squad.
    We would then be in a battle for 72 points. 24 wins. Best chance of that is home wins in the main, plus a few bonus away points if we can get em.
    Up against it. Siege mentality. Fortress valley. Muck and bullets. Us against the world.
    Pull together.
    Can we do that next season? Can we win the battle to stay up?

    I do accept that and I am sorry if it sounded like I was trying to pick a fight with everyone. Airman Brown and Prague are obviously very well respected members of CL and it is not for a young upstart like me to critize them in any way whatsover. I am just a regular fan who, like the rest of you, have a massive amount of love for cafc so naturally it hurts having to read what has been posted here on CL the past few weeks (even though I can't seem to keep away!). Naturally tempers flare and frustration raises its ugly head as a result of this big cloud of uncertainty hovering over our collective heads currently so forgive me for getting a little tetchy.

    I hope the board are reading this and I am pretty sure I speak for us all when I say that a truthful statement on the current situation at the club along with its implications (no matter how depressing they might be) would be gratefully received!

    Didn't Powell say he wanted signings on board by the time of the Welling game? Seeing as he seemed to get all his wishes granted last year, surely if there are no signings this week we will be much closer to knowing what financial and structural situation we are really in?

    The backer having a discussion with a board member regarding where the feck has the money gone I put in. Finally the backer exploded, "If it weren't for my money, the club wouldn't be here!"

    The board member replied, ", if it weren't for your money, I wouldn't be here.". Backer then fecks off. Only at charlton folks, only at fecking charlton, when will this misery end.
