This is probably even more appropriate now than when I first heard it in the late 1970's.
Not strictly true though is it? For instance, in a corned beef sandwich, if you have more bread you are likely to compensate for the imbalance in the corned beef to bread ratio by increasing the amount of corned beef in line with the increased quantity of bread. Therefore "life is like a shit sandwich, the more bread you got the more shit you eat" seems more appropriate.

Top three - this team has the ability to win games. It is a habit. When you learn how to win as a team that is the strongest force in football. First 6 games are critical, come out of them in a positive position and can see us doing very well.0

This is a young team who I hope will mature and thrive in playing at a higher level. If there are a few more signings (I thought Wilson was outstanding for Stevenage against us) of good quality then I believe a top 8 finish or even higher is realistic0
