Tour de France and an Olympic gold in the same year.

Hard to see beyond him for Sports Personality of the year.

Great performance. I expect sideburns to be all the rage now. Interesting body language between the Brits on the podium, or am I just imagining it?

Would like to think so Len but as Cav won it last year will they go for a cyclist 2 years on the trot?

Jessica Ennis may be the only one to pip him to the post but she still wouldn't deserve it ahead of him.

Wonderful interview with Wiggo - getting his medals "in front of that castle". It's Hampton Cort Palace, Brad!!

Me too. Four years of preparation and your chain snaps on the start line. Then a puncture... How's yer luck?

Just got back from Bushy Park in Teddington. WHAT A DAY!!! The support and crowds were absolutely fantastic.

A picnic, plenty of wine, watch the boys come home with an astonishing two medals then on to the pub to watch the gymnastics. Still absolutely buzzing, you could hear the roar for the home riders from way off.

Not a day I'll forget in a hurry.

Watched it on Esher Green. Great location, sun in sky, beer in hand, enthusiatic crowd, British win - happy days.

Managed to catch the British cyclists a second time when they came back down the high street.

Wiggo gave his Mum his medal yesterday. She's the next door neighbour of my friend's grandaughter. Wiggo's Mum made my mate's great grandchildrens' day by letting them be photographed with his gold medal.
